Our reactor can be used for a variety of purposes. Glass reactors are made of borosilicate glass/quartz glass, which makes them ideal for visual indication of the chemical reaction. They are typically equipped with an electric stirrer, and a condenser for refluxing solvent. The single jacket (two layers of glass walls) allows connection to a recirculating heater/chiller for precise temperature control. The double jacket (three layers of glass) takes it a step further and the outside jacket is vacuum insulated which creates an easily visible interior (no ice formation or fog) where materials are reacted, borosilicate glass can withstand extreme temperatures from -100°C to 250°C , quartz withstand from extreme from -100°C to 1200°C!

Our reactors are also available in a wide range of sizes, from small benchtop models to large floor-standing models up to 500L. Ultimately, glass reactors offer an efficient and cost-effective solution for many scientific applications.

For working with solids we suggest our lifting reactors which can open up for removal of solids.
